I need help please! coaches only!?

Im 19 years old i coach youth basketball 5-6 year olds. The other day at the ball game I told them to get the ball to the point guard so he can start the offense. But today at practice parents came up to me with angry attitudes and said that their kids said to only pass the ball to My point guard now the parents are all mad. How do i aproach this and tell the parents thats not what i meant.?
