Are these good shoes for casual wear?

Are these good shoes for casual wear? They call Paul Rodriguez Nike Zoom Air Baja. For Casual Wear I mean a shirt and pair of jeans. I like to wear pants with them covers the entire top of the shoe, not putting it behind of the shoe. So my main concern is that shoe might be too broad. For any of you who have been, is it too wide?
