What is the ceiling height of basketball court?

I am looking for the size requiremetns to erect an indoor gym. Waht is the average size? the celing height is what I’m most after/

All gyms are different. If you are erecting a full court gym you would need a 45+ foot cieling for making long passes and buzzer beater shots. A half court gym maybe 20 or 25 feet would do. A regulation High School floor is 86′ long by 45′ wide (or more) Your need at least 19′9″ to the HS three point line at the top of the key. Therefor a Room 45+ side line to side line by 25 or 30 feet Base line to Half court would work out well for a half court. 45 x 45 would be optimum.

Help with rock band concert?

I'm in a rock band and we're doing a concert at a school aduitorium – the average size of an i guess – perhaps the size of two basketball courts? We have a bass amp 300 watts (lol) and a guitar amp, 35W and 70W guitar amp. Do you think We can pull this off without micing anything? (No not micing drums)

The bass and drums will be fine. The 70w should be fine as well, but probably 35w should have a microphone which means then 70w guitarist will insist he has a microphone too. So assuming that you are getting a council to voices, for example, 6 channels, you could remove 3 for voice, 2 for guitar and I would be the last to the hype. That's assuming you will have channel 6 board …. if you are not, then yes it will sound good, not micing anything, just adjust the levels of everone (including the battery, if hes heavy hitter) to be. Doing this in the sound check, if not had time for one, have someone in the crowd as his assistant, so you can come and tell Inbetween songs he has to go up or down. Good luck

Players do not have to constantly get out of the pool to chase the ball, interrupting their game. By containing the basketball in the play area, safety is greatly increased. When players have to constantly get out of the swimming pool to get the ball, there is a chance they may slip on the wet pool deck and be injured. Any potential damage by ricochet shots out of the pool to screens, windows, plants or furniture is virtually eliminated by the wings deflecting the ball back into the pool.
