Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards is a professional basketball team based in Washington, DC They are among seven teams in the Atlantic Division Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The franchise plays at the Verizon Center, also known as the "phone booth" and is red shirts, white and blue.

The Wizards began the adventure of the NBA in the 1961-62 season. They are called the Chicago Packers and managed to earn only 18 games in his first season. They changed their name to the Zephyrs in the next season. Then in 1963, became the Baltimore Bullets in the franchise moved to Baltimore, Maryland. The 1964-65 NBA season saw the first success for the team and reached the postseason for the first time. The following season, the Bullets reached the Conference Finals West, but lost to the Lakers.

The Washington Wizards have won the NBA championship in 1978. They defeated the Seattle SuperSonics in 7 games and took a professional sports championship to Washington DC for the first time in 36 years. They were the forerunners of the time, as they also won four conference titles in 1971, 1975, 1978 and 1979 and seven Division titles.

The Washington Wizards saw many changes to their team jerseys and logos in the next years. The largest of these was on 15 May 1997, when the bullets officially changed its logo and name to the Washington Wizards. They entered the NBA Playoffs in 1979 and finished the season 54-28 regular. In the playoffs the Bullets nearly blew a 3-1 series against the Atlanta Hawks, but managed to hold off the Hawks in 7 games.

This was the moment when the audience began to decline in his game and win and did not advance to the playoffs for several years. They made some very good jobs, but in vain. A transition important was for the Wizards, where in January 2000, Michael Jordan became the Washington Wizards President of Basketball Operations and minority owner. During the 2004-2005 season, the team completed its best regular season record of 45-37 in 26 years. It is the first time the franchise reached the playoffs as the Wizards. The Wizs won their first playoff game since 1988 in Game 3 of the first round against the Chicago Bulls.

In Game 5, which took its first lead in a playoff series since 1986 and won against Chicago. In Game 6, he won his first playoff series in 23 years defeating the Chicago Bulls 94-91, also became just the ninth team in NBA history to win a playoff series after being down 0-2.

which game should i get, spectrobes origins nba live 08 nba live 09 all play or wii sports resort?

i have nba live 08 now cause i got it for my b-day that was on wed but its kinda sucky so my bro wants wii sports resort. so i could trade in nba live 08 for it but im in the middle of my summer playoffs and hyped for b-ball so i dont know. i could trade in nba live 08 and get nba live 09 all play with more features and up to date teams, but i think there are basicly the same. on the other hand i cant wait for spectrobes origins to come out so i need your help to decide. what would you choose and why?

I would choose to get Wii Sports resort. That sounds like a fun game. If you liked wii sports (which so many of us have) im sure Wii Sports Resort will be an awesome game. It has the new Wii Motion Plus so you wont have to worry about getting your hands on one of those. If you ask me the Wii Motion Plus has much potential and future games will use it, so if you ask me just get it right away and be ahead of every one else and you get a promising game. Why do you think the Detrioit Pistons lost the NBA Eastern Conference Finals?

Well, first of all i think that the pistons this year had a winning season NOT beacuse of Sanders but instead because of the influence that larry brown has left on the team. The reason why the pistons lost to miami was because they needed someone like larry brown to push them to the limit, because he knew their limit and knew what they are capable of, however for flip he took the pistons job with a grain of salt while sure, the pistons are awesome and are capable of winning championships, flip hasn’t been with the team during the bad times, and therefore doesn’t connect with the players as well, the players dont really trust him yet but at the same time dont have anybody else to give them that push.
