Does anyone have a team coach youth basketball?

I have to interview someone who is a youth basketball coach and I wondered if anyone had time to answer some of these questions I have. 1. How long have you been training? 2. What is the most affective training for use in adolescents? 3.What workouts condition you run on your computer? 4. What is the hardest thing about coaching a team of young children? 5. What is the most rewarding thing about coaching a team? 6. What to do with their children who need help to progress? 7. what is the most important factor training in children? 8. what kind of exercises do you use on their children? this is for a school project and really appreciate it if someone could answer these questions. have to be a youth basketball coach

1. 20 years 2. Work on the grounds, close to the shooter, boxing out, rebounding and keeping the ball high (above the shoulders) to go either back up with a new post or pivot and output (I do as an individual exercise: Close out out Box and rebound). Work on ball handling and dribbling drills, do not let I watch the ball. Work on the defensive and positioning (Ball – U – Man) always stay between the man and the basket and position yourself (SAG) so that you can see your man and the ball at the same time, with out turning his head from side to side like you see a game of ping pong. Guard moves jab step, crossover rock, in the short term. Post moves, power dribble, one step back, up and down around the bridge. Moving with the ball, cutting the ball screen, screen away from the ball. With the ball: Always passing and movement, cutting to the basket, the ball screen, screen away of the ball. Never go and support. Working casually, chest pass, step by step and move, with two hands on the head (football) pass, how to make an entry pass to the player after recognizing that the defender is playing in her post player (right hip, left hip, just behind or in front) and last but not least Shooting important exercises: start in close and gradually move further focuses on the appropriate form. 3. Run, suicide, 17, laps, running hard on all full court drills (11 men, the man weaving 3, etc. ..) 4. Attention span, keeping practice interesting. 5. Seeing the progress of individual player and their ability to learn to play together. 6. Give them specific exercises to help work on their weaknesses. Personally I like to use the output off, a Box, rebound drilling described above. It teaches the defense to close difficult for the first two thirds and slide in the final third so the shooter can not dribble past them as they charge, then to box out the shooter and go get the rebound. It is more beneficial if you do strength training first and then finish with cardio. That helps you burn more calories. People tend to do cardio first and second train of force, they tend to burn on the cardio part of it. Then, when they get to that part of strength training, does not have as much energy as would, if they had not done cardio. The same is true with strength training first, and finish with cardio, the better for losing weight.

Preface: I am only 20 and a sophomore at Clemson. I am a coach of 17 years AAU team during the spring / summer, but I've run some basketball camps for young people. wait 17 years want to work, if not or so. 1. only my second season kicks in practice tonite. 2. Im not too sure what u mean by training more emotional, but if u mean a physical workout, then I make them run like "16's". celebrated racing (1min) with the players run the width of cut 16 times (8 down and back). Also recommend natural exercises: pushups, crunches, and "Supermans" (an exercise in back) 3. noted above on 16 and variations such as 8 in 30 sec or 4 in 15 sec. Full Court also scrimmaging with less than 5 players on a team. 4. , So my kids are not young (17), but I've run some camps summer with youth and Id say get to hear and understand instructions is more difficult. 5. see the players grow as players and people 6. and at age 17, or let them know they need to do some work on your own and correct them on things they are doing wrong. 7. Once again, I coach 17 years old, sorry. But, speaking from the experiences of my fields "ID said repetition is great with young people. 8. With young people: the stationary ball handling drills, exercises platter and passing stationary exercises with a partner. and the coup de grace is always a hit!

My husband would like to join the All Marines Basketball team after training- Any Help?

My husband is at Boot Camp in the Marines and is loving it. He has been interested in joining the All Marines basketball team, and I wanted to get more information from someone who has first hand experience? I think he will still have to go through his MOS training and we will be stationed, then he can apply, but I am not sure.
He played NCAA Division I basketball on a full scholarship, played in the final 64 tourney, was voted MVP of the National League in his home country, and is 6 foot 8. I think he will not have a problem making the team, but I was wondering what this will mean? Will that be his full time job in the Marines for the season, or is it just an extra activity?

If he can get on the team (and it seems he’d be a prime candidate) he will be on TDY to wherever they practice at and for games almost all season. That will be his duty for the season.

I had a room mate in the barracks a few years that was on the All Army Volleyball team and he was TDY like 4-5 months out of the year with that gig.
