What kind of Leather Protector Should I use for My Basketball Shoes?

I own a pair of Nike Air Force 90s (its made of leather) & I want them to last a very long time, I only have one pair for indoor/outdoor use.
1) What type of Leather Protector should I buy for my bball shoes? (What should the protectant be made of? is it water based or oil etc?)
2) Could you recommend a brand you’ve used and trust?
(Scotchgard, Kiwi, Penguin are these good? Recommend any others?)
3) Where can I buy this product (at what store)?
