Why won’t my feet heal up? It’s been a month and a half.?

So basically the pain in my feet is at the arch. I went to the doctor and he said that injuries regarding the arch of the foot are usually nothing to be worried about, but it’s been 6 weeks since I’ve had this injury. I went to the doctor around 4 weeks ago.

He blamed it on my shoes which had little padding to provide cushioning when I exercised. I’ve gotten special shoes to provide cushioning but my feet still aren’t healed up.

Should I go back to the doctor?
My feet always heal up to a certain point but then they get worse again, and I have no choice but to stay on my feet(eg walk from class to class) because I need to go to school. At one point I gave my feet a full weeks rest and still they did not heal up.

I’ve stopped jogging and playing basketball and I feel like I lost a lot of progress in my leg muscles because I haven’t trained them in awhile.

I suggest you go see a physical therapist. They will know what’s happening and give you exercises to do to help get it better
