Repair broken basketball pole?

I have a basketball game pole. Cement is a round stick protruding from the earth about 15 inches. It is filled with concrete that is aligned with the breakdown of the lyrics. I was wondering if its possible to mount a new pole in the trunk "of a post. It seems very safe and sturdy with concrete in place. I was just not sure if there was such thing as a repair sleeve or if this road would create a little uncertain.
