what do u think of m homemade punching bag?

i took 3 grocery bags and filled 1 with dried loose soil and rubberbanded it 5 times to close it. i then put a towel over it and duct taped it and then i put 2 more bags and another towel. how do u think it will do?

Now, that’s using your head. You can definitely improve your striking skills with home made pieces like this.

I say good for you. Practice with it until is breaks open. It doesn’t sound like you would do any damage to your hands as I imagine it is a bit softer than a commercial bag. The garbage bags are going to break, but I don’t think you will get bag burn as you would from say a rice or potato sack.

Try to keep improving on your ideas with what materials you have at hand. But, when you do get to striking something harder, I would really recommend getting some hand wraps. You can buy them at almost any sporting goods store, cheap, and the simple directions for how to wrap are printed on a small insert inside the package.
