How can I fix my wood basketball backboard?

It is a district goal, it seems that someone was hanging on the rim and the screws were stripped metal clamp thing on top of the board of truth (not the edge). Since it appears to be divested do not think that buying new screws to fix it. You may have to replace the board and / or the metal support frame. If the bracket is bent, you can check around the neighborhood and the newspaper to see if anyone is selling an old man at a good price, or consult local landfills. Replacing the wooden board can help, but if the support is folded in place seems your best bet.
