It's been a few miserable year for TV comedy. Fark! But luckily there's still a hilarious left on television. Tina Fey of 30 Rock has perfected and refining the brand is unbearable "dumb comedy" in the last three years, and the award show, winning is still strong.

Programs like Arrested Development and the stand-up Late Night with Conan O'Brien helped build an audience for humor awkward in the last decade. The change was a refreshing change mundane observations of Jerry Seinfeld and crude physical comedy cartoons like Family Guy. Awkward comedy began to flourish when transmitted Arrested Development by Fox in 2003, paving the way for shows like The Office.
