It is best acrylic or tempered glass for a basketball backboard outside?

Why would you say is better than the acrylic glass tempered by a board outside? It is used only for personal use only my family.

It sorta depends on the conditions surrounding it, ie, if utility is the playground of the city (lots of abuse God knows what kind of people) or for a more rational use as a personal goal created by just played basketball for Real people who enjoy the game. For the use of games, I'd use acrylic because this material does not tend to break with abuse. However, for a personal goal I'd use acrylic tempered glass because after a few years sometimes tends to be tarnished and loses its transparency, start to look bad. Functional reasonable play, which is the game that are almost the same. Again, it depends on where used. Your call.
