In basketball, what happens when the board is broken or party?

I know in the Pro simply replaced during the game, but does anyone knows what happens, for example in a college game? never seen in person, but I thought I saw some videos or games highschool and in the division 2 or 3 games of the university. So what happens if a replacement isn't available to smaller schools like?

NBA hoops dont break and the worst that can happen is if lower the whole ring. Pieces of glass used to test now. College basketball probably uses sever test. HS could not guess that depends on the school. If it breaks, I'm pretty sure that they have to cancel and reschedule as many doubt that HS replacement tips on hand.
